BAGELS IN THE BOROUGH!

The Ianni - Camp Team

This November, Hillsdale voters have a choice in the leadership we want for our borough.

We, Gabriella Ianni and Chris Camp, are running for Council because Hillsdale deserves representatives who will be transparent and bring people together through community, connection and communication without smoke and mirrors.

Community Through Local Business

Community Through Our Schools and Students

Community Through Accessible Government

Supporting Hillsdale’s Small Businesses

  • Reinvigorate the Hillsdale Chamber of Commerce so small businesses have more resources and collaboration with the borough and, each other.

  • Work with and listen to business owners about their experiences here.

70% of Your Taxes go to Hillsdale’s Schools

  • Reconnect the Council, Board of Education, guardians and school staff to listen, share information and continue to focus on our kids but also, give you transparency on where taxes are being allocated each quarter.

Open Door Policy

We will launch advisory boards, community forums, and events beyond council meetings to keep everyone informed and included.

We recently introduced borough leadership with a Community First Mobile App.

Imagine ONE location for garbage/recycling schedules, council updates, rec schedules, emergency info and more!

At the core, we’re problem solvers who want to keep your taxes down by generating revenue through innovative planning.

  • ABOUT ME

Gabriella here, I grew up in the mountains of California. I know what it means to be from a small but vibrant community that thrives when everyone participates in its success.

I’m also a mom of three who has coached rec. and travel soccer here in Hillsdale - and am happily an active parent in our amazing Smith Elementary.

Professionally, I’ve worked in the music industry for over 22 years and I prioritize being a leader, listener and a collaborator.

I have the willingness to find solutions on both sides of the aisle… because, if it doesn’t work for all of us, it won’t work for any of us.

My friends jokingly call me the “activities director” and no one was surprised when I decided to run for Hillsdale’s council.

  • ABOUT ME

I’m Chris Camp, and I’ve been proud to call Hillsdale home for nearly a decade.

I’ve served the community as a T-Ball coach and Stonybrook Pool Commissioner, showing me how important it is to keep town resources strong and connected.

Professionally, I lead financial data assurance at a Fortune 500, building solutions that improve transparency and efficiency.

I want to bring those same problem-solving skills to strengthen the connections between neighbors, schools, and businesses that make Hillsdale thrive.

The App of it All

A Community First App for Hillsdale

At Ianni-Camp, we believe the strength of a community is built on connection - neighbors knowing where to turn for help, families having access to the information they need, and everyone feeling confident that they’re in the loop. That’s why we’re proposing the creation of a Community First App: an official, one-stop resource designed to put Hillsdale’s most important information right at your fingertips.

Imagine being able to check your phone and instantly know:

  • The trash and recycling schedule for your street

  • Upcoming town events and celebrations

  • Council meeting agendas, notes, and even live updates

  • Emergency alerts and preparedness resources

  • Contact information for local authorities and services

All of it, in one simple, user-friendly place. No more searching through multiple websites, waiting for emails, or scrolling through social media feeds hoping you didn’t miss an update.

By consolidating our communication streams and applying budget-approved resources toward the development of this app, Hillsdale has the opportunity to become a local leader in transparency and communication. Hundreds of towns and municipalities across the country are already using similar tools to keep residents informed and engaged - now it’s our turn to bring that same clarity and convenience to our neighbors.

The Community First App isn’t just about technology - it’s about trust.

It’s about making sure every resident feels seen, supported, and informed. It’s about using the tools we have to strengthen the bond between our Borough and the people who call it home.

Because when our community comes first, communication is strong.
